Resonance of Oneness, 2009
Created in 2009 in anticipation of the artist’s wedding, this sand-cast brass sculpture marks a pivotal exploration of romantic union, intimacy, and biological symmetry. Originally conceptualized around the acoustic framework of a wedding bell, the form was directly inspired by the natural geometry of palm fronds placed face-to-face.The sculpture comprises two interlocking, organic shells that envelope one another, creating a fluid, rhythmic silhouette reminiscent of a couple frozen in mid-dance. The manual surface treatment creates a gilded refraction of light that illuminates the form, balancing the architectural weight of the metal with formal tenderness. The work stands as a celebration of partnership, mutual shelter, and the harmonious intertwining of two lives
