Crafted using intensive iron forging and chasing techniques, the work captures the maternal silhouette with a stark, elongated verticality. The physical expansion of the torso and abdomen is emphasized through meticulous metal chasing, volumetric tension, and a dark, reflective patina. By rendering the soft, protective state of gestation within the unyielding rigidity of iron, the sculpture serves as a powerful testament to family lineage, resilience, and the structured containment of new life.
