The composition fuses two distinct wheel-thrown vessels into a single, asymmetric mass. The architecture of the work directly references the maternal archetype of a nesting hen and the physical mechanics of birth.A voluminous, sand-toned base protective wraps around a secondary, elongated neck that emerges vertically from its core. The transitional glaze shifts from earthy ochres and muted greens at the foundation to a luminous, fluid cobalt blue and pearlescent white along the undulating crests. By collapsing the boundaries between functional pottery and biomorphic abstraction, the sculpture stands as a monument to maternal shelter, gestation, and foundational family bonds.
