Inversion of Two, 2025

This terracotta sculpture operates as a complex physical investigation into psychological and formal unity. Depicting a frontal embrace between two lovers, the work rejects traditional bodily boundaries. Instead, it utilizes structural inversion where internal voids transition into external surfaces.Through fluid material shifts, sections of the female anatomy organically merge to form the structural foundations of the enveloping male torso. Inside and outside become blurred, transforming the two figures into a unified, singular mass. Finished with metallic silver and bronze accents over the fired clay, the sculpture stabilizes the dynamic, shifting geometry of love and absolute emotional integration.
