About Ehud Berg
Ehud Berg’s artistic practice resides at the meeting point of craftsmanship and conceptual depth. As a sculptor, painter, and ceramicist, Berg creates figurative works that translate personal introspection into a broader national context.
His work is characterized by a dynamic tension between the structured nature of the ceramic wheel and the raw freedom of expressive sculpture. This technical versatility enables Berg to "attack" his subjects from various angles, utilizing a wide range of materials and firing methods to evoke different emotional responses.
A graduate of the Bat Yam Institute of Art, Hamidrasha, and the Avni Institute, with a background in architecture from Tel Aviv University, Berg brings a structural yet sensitive sensibility to his art. Recently, his evocative installation reflecting on October 7th was exhibited at the Post Gallery, and his sculpture "Hands" was featured at Givat Haviva, marking his ongoing dialogue with contemporary Israeli reality.
